The Benchmark tool indicates how fast your CPU or GPU will render KeyShot scenes compared to a reference system using an Intel Core i7-6900K CPU (@3.20GHz using all 8 Cores).
The Score:
A score of 1.0 is equivalent to the performance of the reference computer. A score of 2. 0 means that the rendering on your system is twice as fast as the reference system.
Comparing Results:
To get reliable benchmark scores:
●Close all other programs before running the benchmark.
●Make sure the results you compare are generated using the same version of KeyShot Viewer.
Note that the relative score of CPU versus GPU is only valid for comparison for the specific scene that we utilize for benchmarking. The benchmark scene is a typical product design scene. You may experience that your CPU/ GPU performs better/worse on other types of scenes in KeyShot Viewer/KeyShot. In general the performance is impacted by material choices, complexity of geometry,as well as lighting mode.
